Anticipated Completion: The Writer (ada/eze i.) intends to complete the poem (or quote or letter) no later than 1-2 weeks.
[Client] Right to Refusal: The Client (you) retains the right to not purchase the commissioned poem/quote/letter print at any time. In cases where there is a partial payment option, please note that any money already paid before refusal will not be refunded to the Client under these circumstances. This statement relieves the Writer of being indebted to the Client if this occurs.
[Writer] Right to Refusal: The Writer has the right not to take on a request. Any requests to write a poem/quote/letter that supports racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, etc will not be taken, and a refund will be sent to the Client.
Approval: Upon completion, the Writer will supply images of the completed work for the Patron’s approval. If the Client has not paid in full, then the images will be heavily watermarked (not applicable to ko-fi users). These watermarks will not obstruct the view of the poem so much that the Client will not be able to determine approval.
Revisions: Satisfying the customer is of utmost importance; three (3) rounds of revisions are offered free of charge. After that there is a flat rate of $3 for changes (an additional invoice will be sent). The Client will be notified of a new completion date at the request of any revisions.
Copyright (applicable to commissioned poems only): The Writer retains all copyright of the produced poems. Ultimately, this means that the customer has permission to share the work publicly and use it on display for private use, but any reproduction of the work, especially reproductions that will be used for profit or commercial uses, is strictly prohibited unless approved by the writer.
Giving Credit: When sharing work publicly, either online or in person, the Client agrees to give the Writer credit through clear and visible labeling, tagging or verbal acknowledgment.
Shipping: Okwu Literary Co. is not responsible for any possible damage incurred during shipment. Okwu Literary Co. will securely pack the prints and label the package “Do Not Bend”, but this does not guarantee damage-free delivery. Shipping time varies, but it is between 2-5 days.

What is a poetry print?
A poetry print is similar to an art print, but instead of receiving a print of a drawing, painting, or photo, it’s a poem (typed using one of my vintage typewriters, a 1960 Smith-Corona Skyriter and a 1962 Princess 100).
What are the available paper options for the prints (not including the pocket poems)?
For non-custom pieces, the prints will be typed on a paper type of your choosing (some pieces will have an exclusive option)
For custom pieces, currently the options are: collage, classic print (white cardstock), kraft cardstock, and vintage library checkout card (linen and handcrafted paper options coming soon).
When will my order arrive?
Custom pieces: processing time is 1-2 weeks; shipping time is around 2 - 5 days.
Non-custom pieces: processing time is 1 week; shipping time is around 2 - 5 days.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free!
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently I do not, but in the future, I do plan to ship internationally.
Do you offer gift-wrapped options?
Yes! All orders are wrapped in a translucent vellum jacket with a wax seal.
Do you offer returns/refunds?
I don’t offer returns/refunds for both custom and non-custom pieces; if your order gets lost in the mail or never arrives, then I will send you a replacement at no charge to you.
